Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James welsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jk o (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James welsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
o shoots for a double leg takedown but welsh sprawls well. He's pushed o's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
welsh shoots in for a takedown but o shows good takedown defense.
Nice takedown defense from welsh. No joy for o on that attempt.
welsh tries for a takedown but o circles away easily
and o makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
o throws a quick inside leg kick.
welsh shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and o counters with a nice body kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James welsh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
o closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming welsh to the mat! welsh manages to get full guard.
o passes welsh's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
o performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
welsh on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if welsh tries to get out of the position.
o seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but welsh does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
o postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for welsh to stand up.
o tries to clinch but welsh moves out of range.

welsh throws a jab but it's blocked by o.
o clinches with his opponent.
welsh pulls o into guard.
o trying to control the position from guard on top but welsh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
o sitting in guard here, content to control.
welsh not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
o prevents welsh from getting back to his feet.
welsh is breathing heavily.
o wants to control from the top but welsh keeps moving.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
o drops back, looking for a kneebar! welsh looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. welsh looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from welsh!
welsh stands up and beckons o to his feet.
o looks for a takedown but welsh sprawls well.
welsh throws a series of punches but o avoids them all with ease.
welsh throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
o avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
welsh shoots in and bounces o off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
o has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but welsh can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
o trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
welsh postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
o is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
o lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
o prevents welsh from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
o stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
o shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
o punishing his opponent with strikes.
welsh is working to get back to half guard.
welsh looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
welsh tries to roll but o sticks to his back.
o throwing damaging strikes from the back! welsh could be in trouble here!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
welsh tries to escape the position.
welsh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for o on the ground.
Will o go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
o is not going to allow welsh to sit and survive in this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
jk o dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
welsh lands a nice looking kick to the body. o takes a step back to recover.
o fails with the takedown
and welsh counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
o is rocked!
James welsh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
welsh Rushes o and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! o is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. welsh Piles on the pressure and o crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
