Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Poe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Helix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Helix!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helix looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Poe tries to roll over but Helix keeps him under control.
Helix not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Helix seems to be working for a kimura but Poe defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Helix thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Poe's head.
Poe avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Helix.
Poe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Helix on the ground.
Poe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Helix lands a nice short elbow.
Helix throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Helix winds up and cracks Poe with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Poe has hold of Helix's hands but Helix slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Helix in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Poe tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Helix!
