Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Captian Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thunder has chosen Wu Tang Clan Ain't Nuthin' To F*ck With as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Dan Thunder enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Captian Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Thunder! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgan has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Morgan fails with the takedown and Thunder counters with a left and a right that stings Morgan. The fighters circle momentarily. Thunder darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Thunder lands with a nice body punch. Thunder clinches up with Morgan and pushes him back against the cage. Morgan tries to pull guard but Thunder won't allow it.
Thunder prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Captian Morgan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morgan wants to get back to striking at distance but Thunder won't allow it.
Thunder breaks the clinch.
Morgan looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thunder throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Thunder gets in close and instigates a clinch. Thunder has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Morgan is trying to keep an underhook but Thunder manages to get the takedown into half guard. Morgan wants to get back to full guard. Thunder sitting and controlling from the half guard. Thunder not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Morgan looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morgan works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Thunder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Morgan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Thunder not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dan Thunder. Morgan misses with a takedown attempt and Thunder counters with a shoot takedown. Morgan fights it but they end up in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Morgan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Thunder's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morgan drops back looking for a leg! Thunder is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Thunder manages to kick Morgan off! Morgan jumps back into Thunder's guard. Morgan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Morgan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Thunder is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Morgan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Thunder trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Thunder holds on and takes a little breather. Morgan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thunder swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Thunder has control of Morgan's left arm, preventing Morgan from doing any damage. Thunder looking for a guillotine here but Morgan defends easily.
Thunder looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Morgan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Thunder's guard. Morgan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Thunder defends it well. Morgan is working for a submission of some sort.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Thunder dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Thunder closes the distance and clinches. Thunder's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Thunder gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Thunder prevents Morgan from improving his position. Morgan is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan is trying to control but can't.
Morgan tries to get to full guard but Thunder has control of the leg. Thunder is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Morgan looking for submissions off his back. Morgan is looking for a sweep. Thunder is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Morgan looking for submissions off his back. Morgan looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Thunder seems to be working for a kimura but Morgan defends the submission attempt. Morgan is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Thunder in particular looking to stall. Morgan is refusing to be controlled, as Thunder sits in half guard. Morgan tries to get to full guard but Thunder has control of the leg. Thunder is taking a breather. Morgan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Dan Thunder hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Thunder closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Morgan quickly recovers to half guard. Thunder is controlling the pace.
Thunder not landing any meaningful shots this time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Thunder prevents Morgan from improving his position. Thunder blocks the strikes from Morgan.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Thunder showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!
Morgan with a lazy takedown attempt and Thunder counters by moving into the clinch. Thunder breaks from the clinch.
Thunder drives through and clinches with Morgan against the cage.
Thunder tightens his grip and picks Morgan up, before dumping him to the ground. Morgan manages to land in guard. Morgan tries to land a sweep but no joy. Morgan looking to control.
Morgan wants to sweep but no luck. Morgan looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Thunder puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Thunder in particular looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan wants to control but Thunder is keeping busy and won't allow it. Thunder prevents Morgan from improving his position. Thunder is pressing down on Morgan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Morgan is holding on for now. Morgan wants to improve his position but Thunder is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Dan Thunder was stalling too much, according to the referee. Thunder moves into range and clinches up with Morgan. Thunder's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Morgan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Thunder stuns Morgan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thunder throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Morgan misses with a takedown attempt and Thunder counters with a takedown into side control. Thunder in side control, just content to control the action for now. Morgan wants to control but Thunder postures up. Morgan is letting Thunder control him for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morgan tries to bench press Thunder off him but Thunder keeps the position. Captian Morgan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Dan Thunder has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Morgan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Thunder counters with a head kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Captian Morgan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crunch! Thunder slams his shin into Morgan's torso.
And that's the end of the fight! Dan Thunder comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Thunder has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
