Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raul Kinionez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wando Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kasta - Normal'no vsyo. Wando Silva looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Raul Kinionez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wando Silva! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva misses with the combination.

and Silva counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Kinionez looking for a takedown. Kinionez lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Kinionez controlling the action here. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Raul Kinionez. Kinionez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Kinionez or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raul Kinionez. That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck for Kinionez with that takedown attempt. Kinionez shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense. Kinionez drives through with a takedown into guard. Silva can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kinionez controls the pace. Kinionez has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Silva looking for a guillotine here but Kinionez defends easily.

Silva has his foot on Kinionez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kinionez works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Silva looks gassed! Kinionez is pushing down on Silva's leg trying to pass to half guard. Silva is fighting to maintain full guard but Kinionez has managed to sneak the leg through. Silva looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Kinionez content to control rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kinionez slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva is looking for a sweep. Kinionez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Raul Kinionez just wasn't active enough. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kinionez. Kinionez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silva. Kinionez fails to land with a series of punches.
Silva stuffs the takedown attempt from Kinionez. Kinionez gets slowly back to his feet. Kinionez looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Silva! Kinionez moves to take his opponent's back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kinionez is riding his opponent, not letting Silva buck him off. Silva turns into Kinionez and is now in his guard.
Silva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Silva stops Kinionez from standing up. Kinionez on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kinionez tries to get out of the position. Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but Kinionez is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raul Kinionez dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Kinionez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Kinionez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Silva takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Kinionez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily. Kinionez swats away the attempt to clinch by Silva. Kinionez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kinionez lands in his opponent's guard. Kinionez is stalling in the full guard. Kinionez wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Kinionez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kinionez has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted. Silva is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kinionez is stalling in the full guard. Silva keeping moving, preventing Kinionez from controlling successfully.
We're going to have a standup here because Raul Kinionez wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kinionez dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Kinionez's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raul Kinionez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kinionez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A combination from Kinionez does no damage. Nice straight punches there by Kinionez. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kinionez. Kinionez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Raul Kinionez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kinionez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Silva tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kinionez is in Silva's guard.

Kinionez doesn't defend quickly enough and Silva has managed to lock this one up! Can Kinionez escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Silva on a fantastic submission victory.
