The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pufik throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Pancamo to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Kolya Pufik has been cut.
Pancamo throws a right and a left that Pufik avoids nicely.
Pancamo darts in trying to clinch
and Pufik counters by clinching up.
Pancamo is looking to break free of the clinch but Pufik has double underhooks.
Pancamo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Pancamo has Pufik pressed against the cage, preventing Pufik from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Pancamo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pufik is fending him off so far but Pancamo persists. Nope, Pufik circles away and we're back to standing.

Pancamo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pufik manages to avoid it.
Chuck Pancamo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pancamo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Pancamo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pufik pinned against the cage. Pufik gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pufik leaves Pancamo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Kolya Pufik will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Pancamo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pufik sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pancamo somewhat.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Pancamo scores with a shot to the body.
Pancamo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Pufik on his heels. He'll look to pass Pufik's guard now, I'm sure.
Pancamo passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Pancamo is working to tighten is grip on Pufik's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pufik has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Pancamo is really squeezing tight and eventually Pufik passes out! Pancamo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
