Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodderick Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Koslov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koslov has chosen Requiem for a Dream as his entrance music. Rodderick Austin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rodderick Austin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Koslov! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Austin closes the distance but Koslov moves to the side and Koslov makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Austin closes the distance looking to clinch and Koslov counters with a nice uppercut. Austin looks to clinch and Koslov makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Austin throws a right and a left that both miss. Koslov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Austin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Koslov is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Austin will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Austin stops Koslov from passing to mount. Koslov stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koslov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Austin avoids it really well and circles away. Austin tries to clinch but fails miserably and Koslov counters by moving into the clinch. Austin is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. With the fighters up against the cage, Austin throws an elbow but misses. Koslov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Austin throws an elbow that misses.

Austin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Austin looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Sloppy strikes from Koslov. Those never looked like landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Austin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Austin misses with a head kick.
Koslov circles away from the clinch attempt and Koslov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Austin forces Koslov back against the cage and clinches. Koslov successfully pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Austin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Austin connects with a couple of short punches. Austin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Koslov is looking for a triangle here but Austin uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Koslov is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Austin off and has taken his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Austin staying busy and making it hard for Koslov to control. Austin controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Koslov looking to break Austin's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Austin remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Koslov will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Will Koslov go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. I really don't envy Austin right now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Igor Koslov dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Koslov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Austin sprawls well. Austin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Koslov gets slowly back to his feet. Austin darts in trying to clinch and Koslov counters with a nice double leg into guard. Koslov tries to free his leg and advance position but Austin is retaining full guard. Austin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Austin pulls Koslov in to control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Rodderick Austin wasn't doing enough on the ground. Austin wants to clinch and Koslov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Austin won't be happy with that. Austin is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Koslov remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Koslov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Koslov. Koslov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Austin keeps working. Koslov in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Austin is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Koslov asserts his dominance and retains side control. Koslov decides to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sloppy strikes from Koslov. Those never looked like landing. Austin wants to clinch but Koslov slips to the side and Koslov counters with a lovely straight right hand! Austin moves to clinch but Koslov breaks away and Koslov counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Koslov. Austin looking to control.

Igor Koslov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Koslov closes the distance and clinches up with Austin, looking for a takedown. Koslov pushes Austin against the cage but Austin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Koslov avoids the head kick by Austin.
Austin tries to clinch and Koslov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Koslov scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Austin trying to control but Koslov postures up.
Koslov thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Koslov is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's one minute gone in the round. Austin has one foot on Koslov's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Austin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Austin gets caught napping as Koslov dives in and scores a takedown. Austin manages to retain guard. Koslov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Austin is keeping the position for now. Koslov trying to control but Austin is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Austin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Koslov works a leg free and moves into half guard. Koslov stands up and beckons Austin to join him on the feet. Austin tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Koslov counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Austin's guard now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koslov trying to control but Austin is working from the bottom. Koslov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Austin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Koslov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Koslov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Koslov slips nicely into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Koslov uses his free foot to push down on Austin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Austin. You get the feeling that Austin really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Rodderick Austin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Austin tries to lock up and control but Koslov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that's the end of the fight! Igor Koslov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Koslov winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
