Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson keeps the fight on the outside.
Jackson throws an overhand right that lands on Peppo's shoulder, as Peppo tries to avoid the shot.
Jackson scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Teppo Peppo has been cut.
Peppo defending well as Jackson loads up on a big left hand.
Teppo Peppo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson scores with a sloppy right hand. Peppo should have avoided that one.
Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt
and Jackson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jackson misses with a looping left.
Jackson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Peppo.
Peppo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jackson backs up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Peppo throws a combination that misses
and Jackson counters with a left to the body.
Jackson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Peppo.
Peppo closes the distance but Jackson moves to the side
and Jackson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Peppo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jackson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That has opened up Teppo Peppo's cut even more.
Peppo looks to clinch
and Jackson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Peppo looks gassed!
Peppo on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nice cross by Jackson.
Peppo is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Peppo glances at the clock... BAM! Jackson nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Peppo crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Peppo is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jorma Jackson!
