The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andriamboavonjy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hamlin counters with a head kick that drops Andriamboavonjy to the mat! Andriamboavonjy scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Hamlin throws a combination that misses
and Andriamboavonjy counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Andriamboavonjy.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hamlin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Andriamboavonjy is standing up over Hamlin. Hamlin looks to escape but Andriamboavonjy dives into side control.
Hamlin is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Andriamboavonjy asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Andriamboavonjy works to advance to full mount. Hamlin defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hamlin defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Andriamboavonjy.

Andriamboavonjy has control of Hamlin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hamlin regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Andriamboavonjy goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hamlin turns into him and now he's in Andriamboavonjy's guard.
Andriamboavonjy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hamlin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Hamlin wants to stand but Andriamboavonjy is controlling his posture from full guard.
Hamlin wants to control from the top but Andriamboavonjy keeps moving.
Andriamboavonjy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Andriamboavonjy is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Hamlin is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Hamlin flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Andriamboavonjy anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Hamlin and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Andriamboavonjy slips an arm under Hamlin chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Andriamboavonjy has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Andriamboavonjy is squeezing on Hamlin like an anaconda would it's prey. Hamlin fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
