The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Conceicao throws a leg kick which misses Pilsudski's front leg but catches the back leg as Pilsudski tries to avoid it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Da Conceicao.

Da Conceicao working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pilsudski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pilsudski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Da Conceicao has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pilsudski is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Da Conceicao.
Da Conceicao is looking to regain half guard here but Pilsudski keeps moving and retains side control.

Da Conceicao has his foot on Pilsudski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pilsudski works his way back into a safe position though.

Da Conceicao had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pilsudski is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Da Conceicao Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pilsudski's back instead.

Da Conceicao is looking for the choke from the back position but Pilsudski is controlling his hands well.
Da Conceicao working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Pilsudski is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Da Conceicao has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Pilsudski taps out!
