Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Drysdale! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sheldon Chaykin! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chaykin is looking to chop away at Drysdale's legs. Drysdale walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Drysdale gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Chaykin moves into the clinch. A right hook to the body lands for Chaykin.

Drysdale has Chaykin pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Chaykin manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drysdale is working for takedown but Chaykin is calmly controlling the position for now. Chaykin landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Chaykin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The fight stays on the outside here - Chaykin looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A solid leg kick lands there for Chaykin.
Chaykin moves into the clinch. A knee to the head by Chaykin.
Drysdale is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Chaykin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chaykin lands a big head kick that sends Drysdale tumbling to the mat! Chaykin takes a step backwards and waves Drysdale back to his feet - he wants the finish!
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Drysdale with a lazy takedown attempt and Chaykin scores with a counter punch that sends Drysdale to the canvas! Chaykin smells blood - he's punishing Drysdale with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Drysdale has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
