Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charm Demarsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kileki Kawike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kawike has chosen Anthrax w/ Public Enemy - Bring the Noise as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kileki Kawike!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Demarsh finds it's target.

Demarsh has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Kawike counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Demarsh makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Kawike feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Demarsh connects with a leg kick. Kawike looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Demarsh tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kawike swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kawike is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Demarsh is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That's time! Demarsh's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

and Kawike counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Demarsh throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kawike.
Demarsh throws a hook but Kawike blocks it.
Kawike shoots in for a takedown but Demarsh shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kawike pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Demarsh back to the cage. Kawike follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Demarsh looks to land a right hand but Kawike moved out of range.

Kawike changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Demarsh tries to avoid it but Kawike manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Demarsh to the ground. Demarsh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kawike shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Demarsh but Demarsh pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Charm Demarsh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kileki Kawike.
