Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suggs shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Suggs showed some decent athleticism there.
Barry tries to get to full guard but Suggs has control of the leg.
Suggs passes to side control.
Suggs stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Suggs misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Barry showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Suggs.
Suggs throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Suggs shoots in for a double leg but Barry sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
No joy there for Barry, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Suggs drops back looking for a leg! Barry is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Barry manages to kick Suggs off! Suggs jumps back into Barry's guard.

Barry shoots for a double leg takedown but Suggs sprawls well. He's pushed Barry's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Barry tries to improve position but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A lull in the action here.
Barry is not content to let Suggs control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Terrell Suggs dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Suggs counters with a single leg into guard. Barry didn't expect that.

Barry might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Suggs has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Barry defend it? Suggs steps over the head and cranks it - Barry is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Suggs!
