Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steven Stanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Moore closes the distance but Stanson moves to the side
and Stanson counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
A combination from Stanson does no damage.
Stanson throws a looping overhand right but Moore ducks down to avoid it.
Moore uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stanson.
Moore misses with a takedown
and Stanson counters by clinching up.
Moore throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Moore wants to control from the top but Stanson keeps moving.
Moore might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Stanson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Moore stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stanson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Moore drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stanson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Moore has Stanson in his guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Steven Stanson.
Well Stanson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
