Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Denny Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chase comes to the cage accompanied by Forever. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Denny Chase! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Doug Davis! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chase checks a low kick from Davis. Chase throws a poor cross that misses
and Davis counters with a leg kick. Chase throws a right hand that misses
and Davis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Chase misses with a left hand and Davis counters with a nice uppercut. Chase misses with a left hand and Davis counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Davis. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Davis. Chase tries to score a body lock takedown but Davis shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Chase on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Davis tries to land a knee to the head but Chase blocks with his arms.
A short body shot lands from Davis as the two fighters clinch.
Davis lands with a light punch inside. Davis landing knees to the body.

Davis lands a body punch in the clinch. Davis tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Chase avoids it. Davis lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A knee to the head by Davis.
Still in the clinch, Davis scores with a nice short uppercut. Good body shot from Davis.
Chase is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Chase backwards. A hook to the body from Davis.
Chase is breathing heavily. Davis lands with a left to the head. Davis working Chase over with knees to the body. Davis connects with a nasty looking knee right to Chase's face.
It looks like Denny Chase has been cut. Davis lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Chase. Davis softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Davis lands a nice uppercut. Davis lands a damaging elbow. Davis lands with a light punch inside. Knees to the body from Davis.
This has been an exciting period of action! Davis utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Davis lands an elbow inside that Chase shrugs off. Davis with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Chase takes a knee right on the jaw!
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Davis obliges. A left hand lands to the body for Davis.

Davis lands an elbow inside. Davis lands an elbow just above Chase 's eye. Davis misses with a knee strike.

Chase is trying to push Davis away but Davis has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Davis throws an elbow but it misses.

Davis lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Davis lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Chase or not. Davis scores with a knee to the head.

Davis works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Davis lands a hook to the side of the head. Chase is trying to break free. Davis has Chase pressed against the cage, preventing Chase from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Chase has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Chase working hard to break the clinch. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Davis. A short left from Davis. Davis lands a hook that snaps the head of Chase backwards. Chase tries to break free but Davis pushes him back against the cage. Chase's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Davis lands a body shot. Davis missing with knees to the body.
Chase wants to get back to striking at distance but Davis won't allow it.

Davis pushes Chase back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davis putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Chase in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Davis with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Davis lands with a light punch inside. Davis lands a right hand. Come on Davis - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Davis comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Davis gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. A short right from Davis. A short right from Davis. Chase wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Davis lands a hook to the side of the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Davis lands a left hand that snaps the head of Chase backwards. Davis stalling.
Chase has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Davis with an attempt at a knee that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doug Davis dominated that round. The cut man is working on Denny Chase's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Davis counters with a big head kick but Chase shrugs it off. Chase throws a lazy uppercut
and Davis counters with a slapping leg kick. Chase misses with a hook to the body
and Davis counters by moving into the clinch. Davis connects with a nasty looking knee right to Chase's face.
Davis lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Davis has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Davis lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. A shot in the inside from Davis. Davis throws a head punch that misses. Davis is working Chase over against the cage. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Davis in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Davis misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Chase.
Davis working some nice short punches in the clinch. Davis lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Davis lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Chase backwards. Chase tries to circle away but Davis has him pinned against the cage. Davis with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Davis gets through Chase's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Chase wants to break the clinch but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chase is looking to break free of the clinch but Davis has double underhooks. Davis jerks Chase's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Chase drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Davis goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Davis because Chase was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
