The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins feints and then cracks Bear's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bear down.
Bear avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A left and a right from Hopkins both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Pedo Bear has been cut.
Hopkins has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bear looking for a takedown.
Bear jumps guard but Hopkins stands there with Bear around his waist. Bear gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hopkins breaks from the clinch.
Bear has closed the distance and engaged Hopkins in a clinch.
Hopkins lands with a short head shot on the inside.
A short uppercut from Hopkins.
Bear is rocked!
Hopkins escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bear is still on wobbly legs! Can Hopkins finish him?
Hopkins lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Bear looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hopkins feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Bear crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Silas Hopkins!
