Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Zerynchuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Donnelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patrick Donnelly struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Vladimir Zerynchuk could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Patrick Donnelly's chin.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donnelly gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Donnelly trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Zerynchuk thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Zerynchuk sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Donnelly's guard.
Zerynchuk lands with a punch from half guard.
Donnelly wants to get back to full guard.
Donnelly is looking to control Zerynchuk's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Donnelly avoid being mounted?
Zerynchuk is looking for a kimura but Donnelly is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Zerynchuk to get the leverage.

Zerynchuk could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Zerynchuk is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Donnelly doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Zerynchuk.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Zerynchuk throws a big right hand that misses.
Zerynchuk postures up in Donnelly's guard and throws a big left but Donnelly blocks it.
Zerynchuk is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Zerynchuk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Donnelly closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Zerynchuk is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Donnelly's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Donnelly's back!
Zerynchuk is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Donnelly is defending well though. Zerynchuk let's go of the attempt for now.

Donnelly is trying to defend against the choke here but Zerynchuk has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Zerynchuk Tightens the hold and Donnelly taps out furiously! Zerynchuk displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
