St Pierre comes into the arena with Numéro 1 blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wandinho throws a sloppy head kick
and St Pierre counters with a single leg into guard. Wandinho didn't expect that.
St Pierre is looking to work some ground and pound but Wandinho has wrist control.
Wandinho preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Wandinho is trying to keep St Pierre in close.
St Pierre throws a big right hand that misses.
St Pierre stands up over Wandinho, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
It looks like Joseao Wandinho has been cut.
St Pierre is looking to work some ground and pound but Wandinho has wrist control.
St Pierre wants to control from the top but Wandinho keeps moving.
Wandinho isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. St Pierre stacks Wandinho on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by St Pierre !

St Pierre looks up at the clock and then as Wandinho takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, St Pierre smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Wandinho is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Wandinho is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked St Pierre off and has taken his back!
Wandinho is looking for the choke from the back position but St Pierre is controlling his hands well.

Wandinho gets his hands free as St Pierre looks to control.

Wandinho has gone for a leg lock! St Pierre slips out almost immediately though and dives into Wandinho's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
St Pierre tries to free his leg and advance position but Wandinho is retaining full guard.
St Pierre passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Wandinho tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but St Pierre wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
St Pierre knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wandinho on the ground.

Wandinho throws an overhand right that lands on St Pierre 's shoulder, as St Pierre tries to avoid the shot.

St Pierre with a couple of short strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wandinho is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Wandinho is in all sorts of trouble here.
St Pierre pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

That has opened up Joseao Wandinho's cut even more.
St Pierre loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Wandinho scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from St Pierre land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. St Pierre stands and salutes the crowd.
