Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joeseph Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alvarez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Stand Alone. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rodrigo Alvarez was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez looks to land a combination but Rogan avoids it well.

Rogan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Rogan has Alvarez pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Alvarez manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Alvarez lands a nice shot that snaps Rogan's head back.

Alvarez ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Alvarez, as that shot connected.
Alvarez works over Rogan's head and body with a nice combination.
Alvarez smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Rogan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Rogan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Alvarez darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Alvarez connects with a jab.
Alvarez stalks Rogan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rogan's face. Rogan staggers backwards, shaken.

Rogan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Alvarez connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rogan scrambles back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Rogan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Alvarez scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Alvarez scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Danga de danga de dang - Alvarez scores with a four punch combination!
Rogan is rocked!
Rogan looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Alvarez throws out a powerful jab.
Oh Rogan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rogan takes one to the chin there.
Alvarez lands a head shot.
Alvarez cracks Rogan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Rogan finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Alvarez's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Rogan falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rodrigo Alvarez!
