Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Smith!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Smith does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Moon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Smith rushes Moon and presses him up against the cage.
Moon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Nice body punch from Smith.
Moon jumps guard but Smith stands there with Moon around his waist. Moon gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Moon closes the distance looking to clinch
and Smith makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Moon really felt that one!
Moon looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Moon is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Moon slips a jab from Smith.
Smith connects with the punch.
Smith lands a left and a right that send Moon crashing to the mat, dazed. Smith thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Moon is rocked!
It looks like Ben Moon has been cut.
Smith instigates a clinch.
Oh Moon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Moon to his knees! Smith keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Smith!
