Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Sansom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eskil Lemmelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sansom comes to the cage accompanied by PUBLIC DOMAIN - Operation Blade. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eskil Lemmelin! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sansom closes the distance looking to clinch and Lemmelin counters with a nice uppercut. Lemmelin lands a nice shot that snaps Sansom's head back.
Sansom misses with a few strikes there.
Sansom feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Lemmelin tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sansom in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Lemmelin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sansom is one step ahead there. Lemmelin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lemmelin lands a heavy elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lemmelin unloading with bombs!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lemmelin wants to control but Sansom has made it back to half guard. Nice work. Lemmelin is taking a breather. Sansom says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Lemmelin landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Lemmelin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sansom does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lemmelin sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sansom defending well though. Nice strikes from Lemmelin there. Lemmelin trying to pass the guard but Sansom defending well. Lemmelin stalling away here and it's allowed Sansom to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Sansom on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sansom tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lemmelin missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lemmelin stands up over Sansom, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Lemmelin stands and throws Sansom's legs to the side, diving into side control. Lemmelin fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Lemmelin wants to control for a moment but Sansom uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Lemmelin not landing any meaningful shots this time. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lemmelin connects with a nice short shot to Sansom's temple. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Still in half guard, Lemmelin seems content to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lemmelin working the head and body with strikes. Lemmelin scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Lemmelin wants to pass the guard but Sansom is defending well. Lemmelin uses his free foot to push down on Sansom's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sansom. Lemmelin is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sansom can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lemmelin looking to control but Sansom is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lemmelin is in the full mount, landing strikes. Lemmelin is landing with some decent strikes but Sansom is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lemmelin throws a right and a left that Sansom avoids nicely. Sansom closes the distance looking to clinch and Lemmelin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Lemmelin working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Lemmelin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lemmelin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lemmelin throwing strikes from guard but Sansom blocks nicely. Lemmelin with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lemmelin trying to control the position from guard on top but Sansom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sansom trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Sansom trying to keep a closed guard but Lemmelin is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sansom tries to clinch up enabling Lemmelin to counter with a crisp jab. Lemmelin thows a body shot but no joy. Lemmelin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Sansom tries for a takedown but Lemmelin circles away easily and Lemmelin counters with a two punch combo. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lemmelin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sansom's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lemmelin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sansom scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like James Sansom has been cut. Lemmelin drops Sansom with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sansom looks back up at him and smiles so Lemmelin waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Sansom is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lemmelin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Lemmelin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Lemmelin chips away with some ground and pound. Sansom seems to have got his legs back now. Lemmelin tries to free his leg and advance position but Sansom is retaining full guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lemmelin's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Lemmelin landing with the ground and pound. Sansom working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lemmelin.

Lemmelin distracts Sansom with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Lemmelin wants to control from the top but Sansom keeps moving. Lemmelin is in close to Sansom's body, working some short punches and elbows. Lemmelin with a flurry of punches that miss. Lemmelin is looking to work some ground and pound but Sansom has wrist control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lemmelin throws a strike but Sansom rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Lemmelin seems keen to control Sansom's posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eskil Lemmelin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on James Sansom's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Lemmelin lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Eskil Lemmelin has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lemmelin postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sansom looks a forlorn figure.
