Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Coleman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Feder Emeleanenkis! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emeleanenkis throws a shot to the body.
Coleman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Good leg kick by Emeleanenkis there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Emeleanenkis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Coleman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Emeleanenkis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Emeleanenkis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Emeleanenkis goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Mark Coleman has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Emeleanenkis leaves Coleman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Coleman is breathing heavily. Emeleanenkis with a body punch. A glancing blow. Emeleanenkis connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Emeleanenkis is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Coleman rather than just go for the knockout. Emeleanenkis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Coleman is rocked! Emeleanenkis circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Coleman tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Emeleanenkis wins by KO!
