Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cj Groove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ice Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man has chosen Penthouse as his entrance music. Ice Man has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Cj Groove's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cj Groove! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ice Man! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Man fails with an attempt to clinch.
Groove gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Man counters with a thumping low kick. Man fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Groove has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Groove throws a lazy head kick and Man counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Man uses his free foot to push down on Groove's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Groove. Man controlling his opponent. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Man has hold of Groove's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Groove manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Man tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Groove keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Groove is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Groove and Man has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Man working away. Groove really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Groove is looking to reverse the position. Groove wants to control but Man postures up. Man stands up and beckons Groove to his feet. Groove gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Man counters with a series of strikes. Groove will be more careful next time no doubt. Some wild striking there from Groove.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Man blocks a leg kick. Man avoids the head kick by Groove.
Groove looks to land a combination but Man avoids it well. Man connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Man lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Groove falls backwards - clearly groggy! Man dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ice Man!
