Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Castello.
Sandas goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Castello throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sandas was covering up waiting for the punch and Castello finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Sandas utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Castello pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sandas is keeping the position for now.
Castello decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Castello displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sandas throws out the jab.
Keichi Sandas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sandas misses with a body shot
and Castello counters with a single leg into guard. Sandas didn't expect that.
Castello slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Castello gets to his feet - Sandas follows without any prompting.

Sandas throws a head kick that half lands.
Castello shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
