Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Benny Blanco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanco doesn't succeed with the takedown
so Brown counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Brown controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. David Brown wasn't active enough on the ground.
Blanco tries to grapple but his opponent circles

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brown wants to pass to mount but Blanco is defending the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Brown is trying to stick to Blanco's back but Blanco is turning into Brown. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Brown's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Blanco.

Brown is nestled in close to Blanco, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Benny Blanco.
A head kick from Blanco lands but Brown takes it in his stride.
Blanco fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Brown.
