Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeete Schultz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blaine Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jeete Schultz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Blaine Stone! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone misses with an uppercut
and Schultz counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Schultz. Schultz is working for takedown but Stone is calmly controlling the position for now. Schultz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stone is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Stone takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Schultz prevents a takedown attempt there.
Schultz manages to break the clinch.
Schultz shoots for a double leg takedown but Stone sprawls well. He's pushed Schultz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeete Schultz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stone throws a lazy uppercut
and Schultz counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Schultz. Stone wants a takedown.
Schultz lands a left hand that snaps the head of Stone backwards. Schultz holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Stone wants to break the clinch but can't.
Schultz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stone misses with a hook
and Schultz finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Schultz misses with a takedown attempt and Stone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Schultz connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Stone's hands. Stone misses with a right hand and Schultz counters with a left and a right that stings Stone. Stone misses with an uppercut
and Schultz counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Schultz. Stone looking for a takedown.
Stone has Schultz pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Stone pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Schultz tumbling to the mat - Stone dives into Schultz's guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Stone showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Schultz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Stone scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Stone wants to control from the top but Schultz keeps moving. Schultz on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Schultz tries to get out of the position. Stone landing with the ground and pound. Schultz looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone connects with a couple of short punches. Stone works over Schultz with some ground and pound from guard. Stone wants to control from the top but Schultz keeps moving. Stone loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Stone landing some decent shots from guard. Stone works a leg free and moves into half guard. Schultz is looking to improve his position.
Stone lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Schultz tries to roll over but Stone keeps him under control.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone moves nicely into side control. Schultz struggling a bit here. Stone working the ground and pound. Stone is chipping away with strikes.
Stone lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone working the body and head with strikes. Schultz taking punishment in the form of punches.
Stone connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Schultz some visible discomfort.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Schultz taking punishment in the form of punches.
Stone is working to tighten is grip on Schultz's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Schultz has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Stone is really squeezing tight and eventually Schultz passes out! Stone breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
