He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Bas Rutten has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortega misses with an uppercut
and Rutten counters with a slapping leg kick.
Rutten ducks under a wild hook from Ortega.
Ortega throws a sloppy body shot
and Rutten counters with a nice uppercut.
Ortega finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Rutten's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Ortega falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bas Rutten!
