The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banger falls off balance throwing a combination
and Barov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Banger fails with the takedown
and Barov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Banger gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Banger takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Barov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Barov throws a series of punches but Banger avoids them all with ease.
Barov lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Banger at a distance.
Victor Barov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bangers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Barov closes the distance and clinches.
Barov lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Banger backwards.
Banger is working for takedown but Barov is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Banger blocks an uppercut.
Barov pushes Banger back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Banger is rocked!
Barov manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Banger is still on wobbly legs! Can Barov finish him?
Barov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
and Barov counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Banger! He's just covering up as Barov starts to tee off till referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Victor Barov!
