Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Clay Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams comes to the cage accompanied by Time to say goodbye. Clay Adams has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clay Adams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anderson Jones! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Adams manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jones lands a head kick!
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Adams cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Adams shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard. Jones has a closed guard, preventing Adams from standing up. Adams stands up from Jones's guard - Adams perhaps looking for a knockout. Adams with a lazy takedown attempt and Jones counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Jones closes the distance looking to clinch and Adams moves into the clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Jones throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Adams blocks it with crossed arms. A nice glancing elbow lands by Jones.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stalling in the clinch from Jones.
Adams avoids the elbow strike from Jones, against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Jones - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jones feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Adams's calf. Jones closes the distance and clinches. Jones looks gassed! Adams tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Adams tries to pull guard but Jones holds him up against the cage and eventually Adams drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clay Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones breaks the clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Adams manages to break the clinch.
Jones throws a head kick that misses. Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jones tries to clinch but Adams moves away and Adams counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jones! Adams wants to control the pace but Jones is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adams controlling from mount. Adams is standing up, even though he is in mount. Jones lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jones. Adams dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Adams's head and hops out. Jones tries to clinch but fails miserably and Adams counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Adams.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones tries to break the clinch but Adams is controlling the position. Adams decides to pull guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Adams wants to sweep but no luck. Jones throwing strikes from guard but Adams blocks nicely. Adams scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Adams instigates a clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Adams. Adams has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jones regains guard immediately. Adams is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Adams is controlling him. Adams sitting in guard here, content to control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Adams content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Adams trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clay Adams dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Adams moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off. Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Adams fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Adams with a poor takedown and Jones makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clay Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones lands with a nice combination. Adams backs away looking to recover. Adams closes the distance and clinches. Adams jumps guard but Jones stands there with Adams around his waist. Adams gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Adams scores with a hook to the body. Adams tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jones throws a head kick that misses. Jones rushes Adams and presses him up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams looking for a takedown. Adams takes an elbow to the temple. A battle for position here, against the cage. Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Adams fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jones has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Adams closes the distance and clinches. Adams keeps control of Jones as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Adams fails with an attempt to clinch.
Anderson Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones connects with a body shot that sends Adams's belly button to the back. Jones wants to clinch but Adams slips to the side and Adams counters with a takedown into side control. Adams passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Jones! Adams lands a big shot there that rocks Jones but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adams jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jones manages to avoid the submission attempt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Adams is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adams has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jones is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Adams yanks on the arm and Jones is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Adams.
