The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson misses with a two punch combination.
madgwick scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Johnson is trying to buck madgwick off.
madgwick will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Johnson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
madgwick is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Johnson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time madgwick.
Johnson has one foot on madgwick's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
madgwick throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease.

madgwick turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and madgwick manages to end up in side control.
Johnson throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
madgwick controls the position from side control.

Johnson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but madgwick is controlling him well.

madgwick tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Johnson tries to buck madgwick off but madgwick is having none of it.
Johnson wants to get back to his feet but madgwick drags him back down.
Johnson bucks up and tries to throw madgwick off but instead madgwick has got his back!
madgwick has his arm under Johnson's chin here. Game over son! madgwick squeezes tightly and Johnson is forced to tap out!
