The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis misses with a takedown attempt
and Sullivan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Davis moves out of range of the strikes.
Sullivan misses with an uppercut.
Davis fails with the takedown
enabling Sullivan to counter with a crisp jab.
Davis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sullivan throws out the jab.
A jab from Davis finds it's way through Sullivan's defenses.
Sullivan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Davis counter with a right hand.
Davis misses with a takedown
and Sullivan counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Davis thinking.
Kevin Sullivan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Davis.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Davis doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sullivan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Sullivan counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Roy Davis has been cut.

Davis looks to score with a jab to the body but Sullivan is just out of range.
Davis has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sullivan finds it's way round the side to connect with Davis's head.
Davis with a poor takedown
and Sullivan counters with a crisp right hand that drops Davis! Sullivan lets Davis back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Davis is rocked!
Davis staying out of range there.
Sullivan cracks Davis with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Davis tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sullivan pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Davis is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kevin Sullivan!
