Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dill Bill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Wallace! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bill looks to land a combination but Wallace avoids it well. Wallace drives through with a takedown into guard. Wallace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bill swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wallace passes Bill's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Wallace looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Wallace is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bill doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wallace. Wallace has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Wallace goes for an armbar but Bill turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bill. Wallace throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bill can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wallace working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bill. Bill trying to control the position from guard on top but Wallace is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bill is pushing down on Wallace's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wallace is fighting to maintain full guard but Bill has managed to sneak the leg through. Wallace actively working from the bottom here. Wallace is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bill is looking to take a break and control but Wallace is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bill passes to full mount! Wallace can't escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Wallace is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Wallace is squirming around, avoiding Bill's attempts to control the action. Wallace is in all sorts of trouble here.
Wallace regains half guard. Wallace is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wallace works his way to full guard. Good work. Bill preventing the sweep. Wallace is looking for a triangle but Bill pushes his legs off easily.

Chris Wallace dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bill tries to clinch up but Wallace circles away and keeps his distance. Wallace scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Bill wants to control but Wallace postures up. Wallace goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bill rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Wallace's guard! Nice work there by Bill! Wallace is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bill avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Chris Wallace has got the better of the ground game so far. Bill tries to control but Wallace wriggling away. The referee warns Wallace that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Wallace sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Wallace looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Wallace looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Wallace is pressing down on Bill's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Wallace has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bill can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wallace lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bill!
