Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kazushi Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Hahar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazushi Sakuraba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Hahar! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hahar misses with a body shot.
Sakuraba slips a jab from Hahar. Sakuraba looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hahar is fending him off so far but Sakuraba persists. Nope, Hahar circles away and we're back to standing. Sakuraba fails with a takedown attempt. Sakuraba slips a straight right by Hahar. Hahar misses with a left hand so Sakuraba counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sakuraba thows a big elbow that misses. Sakuraba wants to control from the top but Hahar keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sakuraba preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hahar is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Hahar preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hahar avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sakuraba wants to pass the guard but Hahar is keeping the position. Sakuraba drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hahar dives on top into guard. Sakuraba had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hahar defends it easily. Hahar tries to stand but Sakuraba is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hahar is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Sakuraba has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hahar is looking to defend but Sakuraba has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hahar! Sakuraba pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hahar taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Kazushi Sakuraba!
