Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Larsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriel Verrus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ethan Larsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Uriel Verrus!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verrus throws a poor cross that misses
and Larsen counters with a takedown into side control.
Larsen tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Larsen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Verrus is just riding it out for now. Larsen eventually gives up the hold.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Larsen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Verrus swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Larsen is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Verrus is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Verrus has escaped and now he's on top!

A big strike lands for Verrus! That's really hurt Larsen and he's turned his back - Verrus keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Verrus jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
