The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duarte closes the distance looking to clinch
and Van Gundy counters with a nice leg kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Van Gundy stuffs the takedown.
Marcos Duarte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
