PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Tick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colin Barron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tick comes to the cage accompanied by The Tick theme song. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Tick.
Tick gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Barron makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Barron drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A low kick from Tick is predictable there
and Barron counters with a low kick, right behind Tick 's knee.
Tick throws a sloppy head kick
and Barron counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Tick is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tick swings widly with a right hand
and Tick takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like The Tick has been cut.
Tick gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Barron makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Tick really felt that one!
Barron thows a body kick. Tick tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Barron rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tick moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Barron misses with a head kick.
Tick swings widly with a right hand
and Barron counters with an inside leg kick.
Barron misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Barron with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

A solid leg kick lands there for Barron.

A slapping leg kick lands for Barron.
Barron scores with a nice right hand.
Barron throws a jab when Tick was well out of range.
Tick throws a leg kick
and Barron counters with a nice low kick that buckles Tick's knee momentarily.

and Barron counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Barron counters with a good low kick that Tick was not able to check.

Barron connects with a leg kick. Tick looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
That kick from Barron tenderised Tick's leg. Tick is trying to keep his angry face on.
Barron cracks the inside of Tick's front leg.
Barron fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Tick on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Barron feints and then cracks Tick's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tick down.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Barron.

Tick on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Barron. Barron obviously looking to wear him down.
Barron lands an overhand right.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Barron, right into the meat.
Tick's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Barron connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tick scrambles back to his feet.

and Barron counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tick takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A low kick from Tick misses
and Barron counters with a leg kick.
Barron lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tick's sensitive parts.

Barron lands a big head kick that sends Tick tumbling to the mat! Barron takes a step backwards and waves Tick back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Tick is rocked!
Barron flashes Tick a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Tick's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Tick crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Barron punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
