Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Drysdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiger Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drysdale comes to the cage accompanied by Jadakiss - The Champ Is Here. Cruz has chosen Go To Sleep by Eminem feat. DMX, Obie Trice as his entrance music. Tiger Cruz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Drysdale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tiger Cruz! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Drysdale sees it coming and avoids it easily. Drysdale gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cruz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Cruz throws a right hand that misses
and Drysdale counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cruz won't be happy with that. Drysdale tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Cruz is not content to let Drysdale control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cruz tries to bench press Drysdale off him but Drysdale keeps the position. Cruz wants to control but Drysdale postures up. Cruz is trying to buck Drysdale off. Cruz is trying to get back to half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cruz can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Drysdale is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cruz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Cruz is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Drysdale is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Cruz is trying to escape and Drysdale transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Cruz is forced to tap! Nice work there by Drysdale! Very nice indeed!
