Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Kayo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jadimbu Muliva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kayo comes to the cage accompanied by Judith . Muliva comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In Flames - The Quiet Place kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kayo throws a head kick but Muliva moves out of range.
Kayo walks into a straight right hand from Muliva.
Kayo connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Muliva misses with a combination
and Kayo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Muliva thinking.
Muliva has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kayo finds it's way round the side to connect with Muliva's head.

Kayo moves out of range as Muliva strikes.

and Kayo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Muliva takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Muliva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kayo pinned against the cage. Kayo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bubba Kayo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jadimbu Muliva.
Muliva fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kayo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Muliva shoots in for a double leg but Kayo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Muliva uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kayo.
Kayo is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Kayo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Kayo counters with a stiff right hand.
Kayo takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Muliva shoots in looking for a takedown but Kayo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Muliva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Jadimbu Muliva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Muliva counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kayo won't be happy with that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kayo is looking to regain half guard here but Muliva keeps moving and retains side control.
Muliva goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kayo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Muliva but great work by Kayo.
Kayo has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Bubba Kayo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kayo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Muliva takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
