Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Hobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Kills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arthur Hobson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dave Kills! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kills darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kills is looking to take a break and control but Hobson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kills moves nicely into side control. Kills decides to stand back up. Kills steps back and let's Hobson get back to his feet. Hobson moves into range and clinches up with Kills. Hobson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kills gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hobson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Hobson wants to stand but Kills is controlling his posture from full guard. Kills wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kills bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hobson's guard. Kills is fighting to break Hobson's control of his arms but Hobson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Hobson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kills controls the pace. Kills trying to control the position from guard on top but Hobson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dave Kills. Hobson throws a series of punches but Kills avoids them all with ease. Kills fails with the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hobson looking to score a takedown here. Kills is defending well but Hobson drives through and ends up in Kills's guard. Kills pulls Hobson in close to prevent any damage. Hobson trying to control but Kills is working from the bottom. Kills looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Kills is trying to control the position but Hobson postures up. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Dave Kills wasn't active enough on the ground. Hobson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kills circles away. Kills throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hobson has his takedown stuffed and Kills counters with a single leg into guard. Hobson didn't expect that. Kills showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Kills trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hobson keeping moving, preventing Kills from controlling successfully. Hobson looking to control.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dave Kills hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Kills misses with a kick to the body.
Hobson drives through with a takedown into Kills's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Hobson is breathing heavily. Kills pushes Hobson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Hobson has his takedown stuffed and Kills counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthur Hobson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hobson is not content to let Kills control the position. Kills stands up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hobson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kills as he avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hobson looks to score with a jab to the body but Kills is just out of range. Hobson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. The fight stays on the outside here - Hobson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A head kick misses from Kills. Arthur Hobson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kills swinging wildly here.
Kills changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hobson tries to avoid it but Kills manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hobson to the ground. Hobson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hobson throws a nice looking combination but Kills bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kills swings for the body but Hobson moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kills tries to close the distance and clinch but Hobson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hobson tries to clinch but Kills moves out of range. Hobson shoots in for a takedown but Kills shows good takedown defense. Hobson with a lazy takedown attempt and Kills counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kills. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthur Hobson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kills displaying some good clinch control by pressing Hobson up against the cage.

Hobson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kills on the ground. Hobson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Kills controlling Hobson's posture. Hobson wants to control from the top but Kills keeps moving. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Kills is trying to keep Hobson in close.

Hobson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hobson tries to get out of the position. Kills lands a heavy elbow. Kills working for a guillotine from mount but Hobson is in no mood to give up. Hobson is trying desperately to improve position. Kills scoring with strikes but Hobson is staying in there. Kills is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hobson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Kills shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Hobson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kills trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Dave Kills showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Kills goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Kills closes the distance and clinches. Hobson works on Kills's body with a couple of short punches. Kills jumps guard but Hobson stands there with Kills around his waist. Kills gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hobson is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Kills takes Hobson's back. You can see the frustration on Hobson's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

And that's the end of the fight! Dave Kills comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kills has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
