The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Seithman misses.
Seithman throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Santos takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Santos is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A cross from Seithman lands.
It looks like Leonardo Santos has been cut.

Seithman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Seithman cracks Santos with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Santos seems to have got his legs back now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Seithman closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Seithman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Seithman misses with a few strikes there.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Santos is trying to get back to full guard.
Seithman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Santos shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Seithman but Seithman pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Santos is trying to control the position but Seithman postures up.
Santos is looking to sinch up a triangle. Seithman throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Santos's body to avoid the submission. Santos has instead reached around Seithman's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Santos arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
