Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mja Mjo!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neponen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mjo dodges the punch combination from Neponen.
Neponen shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Tommi Neponen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Neponen shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mjo eats them both and turns towards Neponen to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Mja Mjo has been cut.
Mjo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Neponen on his heels. He'll look to pass Neponen's guard now, I'm sure.
Mjo wants to pass the guard but Neponen is keeping the position.
Mjo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Mjo passes Neponen's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Neponen looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Mjo is looking to take a break and control but Neponen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Mjo wants to work for an arm triangle but Neponen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Mjo moves into full mount! Neponen won't be happy about that!

Mjo controlling the position well here. Neponen rolled but Mjo kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Mjo has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Neponen has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Mjo is persistently looking for the submission but Neponen is defending it well.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Will Mjo go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Neponen throws a sloppy head kick and Mjo moves out of range easily.

Mjo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mjo showed some decent athleticism there.

Mjo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mjo looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Neponen is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mjo wants to pass to mount but Neponen is defending the position.
Mjo passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Neponen!
Mjo goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Neponen is on top in guard.
Neponen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Neponen tries to free his leg and advance position but Mjo is retaining full guard.
Mja Mjo has got the better of the ground game so far.
Mjo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Neponen manages to get himself to full guard.
Mjo slips nicely into half guard.
Mjo moves into full mount! Neponen won't be happy about that!

Mjo swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Neponen is now in Mjo's guard. A big mistake from Mjo there, giving up the dominant position!

Neponen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mjo is proving hard to escape from.
Neponen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mjo on the ground.
Mjo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Neponen throws and elbow that misses. Mjo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Neponen's guard. Nice move by Mjo!
Mjo stands and throws Neponen's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Neponen wants to get back to his feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Mjo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Mjo is looking to take a break and control but Neponen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neponen is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Mjo has just dragged him back down to the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mja Mjo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Mjo blocks a head kick by Neponen.
Neponen closes the distance looking to clinch
and Mjo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Neponen won't be happy with that.
Neponen is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mjo asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Mjo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Neponen has escaped the position, nice work there.
Mjo has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Neponen is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mjo yanks on the arm and Neponen is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mjo.
