Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between jimmy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fiodor Jemelianko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, jimmy James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Fiodor Jemelianko! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jemelianko dives in and grabs James's left leg, looking for a takedown. James pushes down on Jemelianko's head and hops out. Jemelianko throws a jab when James was well out of range. Jemelianko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jemelianko misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jemelianko is looking to clinch. Jemelianko closes this distance looking for a takedown but James circles away. Jemelianko misses with a two punch combination.
Jemelianko misses with a takedown attempt - James sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. jimmy James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fiodor Jemelianko. Jemelianko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has James pinned against the cage. James gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jemelianko swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and James counters with a head kick. That will keep Jemelianko thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Jemelianko closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into James's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. James throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jemelianko wants to pass the guard but James is keeping the position. James is working an open guard so Jemelianko takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. James stuffs the takedown. Jemelianko misses with a takedown and James counters with a thumping low kick. James moves to clinch but Jemelianko breaks away and Jemelianko makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Fiodor Jemelianko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jemelianko lands a nice hook to James's body. James takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. James is looking to clinch but Jemelianko is avoiding it.
Jemelianko closes the distance and clinches up with James, looking for a takedown. Jemelianko pushes James against the cage but James circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jemelianko throws a series of strikes that have James backpedaling.
It looks like jimmy James has been cut. James is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. James tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jemelianko counters with a left and a right that stings James. jimmy James is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jemelianko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with James but James pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jemelianko keeps the fight on the outside. Jemelianko throws a low kick but James moves out of range easily. Jemelianko swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and James counters with a good low kick that Jemelianko was not able to check. Jemelianko misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jemelianko shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts James as he jumps to the side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jemelianko stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Jemelianko fails with the takedown and James counters into the clinch. Nicely done. James tries to land knees in the clinch but Jemelianko avoids the damage to the body. James trying to land knees to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. James breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. James slaps away a takedown attempt from Jemelianko, before circling back to the center of the mat. And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
Fiodor Jemelianko dominated that round. The cut man is working on jimmy James's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jemelianko cracks James with an open hand slap. James tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Jemelianko connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jemelianko shoots in but no luck this time. James fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jemelianko shoots in and drives through. James sprawls well. Jemelianko lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jemelianko fails to land with a series of punches.
Jemelianko gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jemelianko pulls guard successfully.
James has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. James trying to control the position from guard on top but Jemelianko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jemelianko is looking to stand up but James isn't so interested in that idea. James drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jemelianko dives on top into guard. James can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jemelianko controls the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Fiodor Jemelianko. Jemelianko fails with a takedown attempt from distance. jimmy James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fiodor Jemelianko. Jemelianko fails with the takedown. Jemelianko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jemelianko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jemelianko fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but James is out of range. James tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Jemelianko counters with a left to the body. Jemelianko gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jemelianko tries for a takedown. Jemelianko is looking to break free of the clinch but James has double underhooks. Jemelianko is trying to drag James to the mat but James just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. James gets underhooks to prevent Jemelianko's takedown attempt.
Jemelianko is breathing heavily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jemelianko gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
Fiodor Jemelianko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on jimmy James's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

James swats away the attempt to clinch by Jemelianko. Jemelianko throws a low kick, looking for James's leg but James calmly moves out of range. Jemelianko displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Jemelianko dips to his left and cracks James with an uppercut!

Nice sprawl there from James as Jemelianko shoots in. jimmy James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fiodor Jemelianko. Jemelianko takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. James tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jemelianko paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fiodor Jemelianko seems to be getting the better of the standup. A lazy body kick from Jemelianko and James counters with a flying knee. Nice. Jemelianko throws a left and a right that both miss
and James counters with an inside leg kick. James closes the distance looking to clinch and Jemelianko holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jemelianko fails to pull guard.
James misses with a knee to the head. Jemelianko wants to get back to striking at distance but James won't allow it.
James has Jemelianko pressed against the cage, preventing Jemelianko from circling away and getting back to striking at range. James missing with knees to the body.
Jemelianko is trying to drag James to the mat but James just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Jemelianko has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. James avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jemelianko tries to pull guard but James holds him up against the cage and eventually Jemelianko drops back down to his feet.

James is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jemelianko is defending well for now. Jemelianko wants to break free but James has control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jemelianko has James pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. James manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Jemelianko gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. James is trying to stand up here but Jemelianko is controlling him well. Jemelianko wants to lay and pray for a moment but James keeps working. Jemelianko is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jemelianko is sneakily working for an arm triangle but James sees it coming and defends easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Fiodor Jemelianko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jemelianko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
