Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watson has chosen Billie Jean as his entrance music. Manuel Harrison has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Manuel Harrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Edward Watson! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watson closes the distance and clinches up with Harrison, looking for a takedown. Watson pushes Harrison against the cage but Harrison circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Harrison misses with a series of wild punches.
Watson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Harrison changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Watson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Watson is not content to let Harrison control the position. Watson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Harrison has just dragged him back down to the mat. Harrison trying to control the position but Watson is working away. Watson keeping his opponent close. Watson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harrison looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The strikes coming from Harrison are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Watson looking for a sweep but Harrison has passed into full mount! Oh no! Watson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Harrison looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Harrison controlling the pace for now. Harrison goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Watson is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Watson wants to control from the top but Harrison keeps moving. Harrison not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Watson sitting in guard, not really doing much. Watson looks gassed! Watson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harrison swivels though and keeps the full guard. Harrison is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Watson passes into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Watson wants to stand up but Harrison manages to regain full guard. Harrison wants to stand but Watson is controlling the position. Harrison trying to keep a closed guard but Watson is proving a slippery customer.
Watson stands up from guard. Let's bang! Watson keeps the fight on the outside. Harrison scores a takedown into full mount! Watson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Harrison. Harrison can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Watson is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harrison content just to control the position here. Watson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Harrison putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Harrison sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Harrison punishing his opponent with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Manuel Harrison dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Harrison shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Watson's guard. Harrison is stalling in the full guard. Harrison wants to control from the top but Watson keeps moving. Harrison avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Harrison works over Watson with some ground and pound from guard. Harrison controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Harrison throws and elbow that misses. Watson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Harrison's guard. Nice move by Watson! Watson is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harrison throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Harrison looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Harrison looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Harrison is looking to sweep but instead, Watson has passed into half guard.
Harrison makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Harrison. Watson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Harrison tries to land a sweep but no joy. Watson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harrison swivels though and keeps the full guard. Harrison is trying to control the position but Watson postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Harrison holds on and takes a little breather. Harrison is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Harrison looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Harrison lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Harrison throwing shots but Watson is blocking nicely. Harrison thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Watson's head. Harrison moves nicely into side control. Watson defending against the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Watson being controlled for a moment. Harrison lands a decent elbow from side control. Watson is trying to control Harrison's posture but Harrison avoids it. The ground and pound from Harrison seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Harrison slows the pace down. Harrison decides to stand back up. Harrison steps back and let's Watson get back to his feet. A combination from Harrison does no damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Watson with a poor takedown and Harrison counters with a takedown into side control. Harrison looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Watson is avoiding damage well.
Harrison taking a break here but Watson is having none of it and regains half guard. Harrison decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Nice sprawl there from Harrison as Watson shoots in. Harrison lands with a slapping head kick.
Watson is rocked! Watson walks forward, straight into a front kick from Harrison. Watson is still on wobbly legs! Can Harrison finish him? Crack! A monster head kick from Harrison and Watson falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Harrison!
