Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Pollack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Darrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jackson Pollack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Darrell! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Darrell lands a jab to the head.
Darrell gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Darrell working for submissions but it's allowed Pollack to get to half guard.
Pollack not doing much here.
Darrell is trying to get back to full guard. Pollack seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Darrell is looking to control Pollack's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Darrell avoid being mounted? Darrell is not content to let Pollack control the position. Darrell is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Darrell is trying to stand up here but Pollack is controlling him well.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Darrell takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Pollack stuffs the takedown attempt from Darrell. Darrell gets slowly back to his feet. Pollack misses with an attempted mid kick.

Darrell fails in his attempt to clinch. Pollack takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Pollack is breathing heavily. Pollack misses with an attempted mid kick.
Pollack swings for the body but Darrell moves out of range.
Pollack tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Darrell misses with a takedown and Pollack moves into the clinch. Pollack trying to land knees to the body.
Darrell is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Pollack gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jackson Pollack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Darrell.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A right hook to the body lands for Pollack.

Pollack is pressed up against the cage. Darrell has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pollack down to the mat. Pollack avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Pollack moves into the clinch successfully.
Darrell is working for takedown but Pollack is calmly controlling the position for now. Pollack breaks the clinch.
Darrell shoots in but no luck this time. Darrell gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pollack counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Darrell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Pollack avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Darrell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pollack tries to avoid it but Darrell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pollack to the ground. Pollack escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Pollack throws a hook to the side of Darrell's head but Darrell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Pollack pushes Darrell up against the cage in a clinch. Darrell jumps guard and drags Pollack to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Darrell is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Pollack slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Pollack working for a triangle but Darrell defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pollack has his hands on Darrell's head, controlling the position. Darrell wants to control from the top but Pollack keeps moving. Darrell slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Darrell tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Darrell prevents Pollack from escaping the position. Darrell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pollack keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pollack wants to control but Darrell postures up. Pollack is not content to let Darrell control the position. Pollack tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Pollack throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Pollack rushes Darrell and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Darrell wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Darrell tries for a takedown. No joy.
Darrell is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pollack pulls him back up using the underhooks. Darrell unloads a knee to the mid-section. Pollack lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Pollack pulls guard effortlessly. Pollack keeping moving, preventing Darrell from controlling successfully. Darrell being controlled here momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jackson Pollack dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Darrell lands a high kick to the side of Pollack's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Darrell dives into guard, looking to finish.
Pollack is rocked!
It looks like Jackson Pollack has been cut. Darrell passes Pollack's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Oh Pollack is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Darrell wants to control but Pollack is keeping him busy. Darrell drops an elbow to the side of Pollack's head. Pollack seems to have got his legs back now. Darrell sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pollack defending well though. Darrell is keen to just control but Pollack is a slippery customer. Pollack knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Darrell on the ground. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Darrell scoring with strikes to the body and head. Darrell wants to take a breather but Pollack is having none of it. Darrell passes the guard and advances to mount! Darrell prevents Pollack from getting the reversal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Darrell stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Pollack feints and as Darrell raises his hands in defense, Pollack changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Darrell working for submissions but it's allowed Pollack to get to half guard.
Pollack prevents Darrell from improving his position. Darrell tries to kick Pollack off but Pollack keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Darrell makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Pollack drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Pollack preventing the sweep. Darrell has a closed guard, preventing Pollack from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Darrell is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Pollack actively working from the bottom here. Darrell works his way into side control. Pollack manages to get back to half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pollack tries to kick Darrell off but Darrell keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Darrell is thwarting Pollack's attempts to control the position. Darrell content to control rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Darrell wants to stand but Pollack has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Darrell is pressing down on Pollack's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pollack is holding on for now. Pollack tries to kick Darrell off but Darrell keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Pollack is staying active underneath Darrell, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Pollack throws a head kick that misses and Darrell counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pollack's knee momentarily. Horrible takedown by Darrell or perhaps it was just good defense by Pollack which made him look bad. Pollack throws a head kick that misses. Pollack throws a head kick that misses. Pollack fails with the takedown and Darrell counters with a shoot takedown. Pollack fights it but they end up in guard. Darrell wants to pass the guard but Pollack is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pollack is trying to keep Darrell in close.
Pollack has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Darrell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Darrell looking to pass the guard. Darrell wants to stand but Pollack is controlling his posture from full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pollack wriggles free and stands up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Darrell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jackson Pollack's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Pollack shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Pollack sitting in guard, not really doing much. Darrell looking to control.

Pollack gets to his feet - Darrell follows without any prompting. A chopping leg kick lands by Darrell. Pollack clinches up against the cage. Pollack drags the fight down to the ground.
Darrell is looking to stand up but Pollack won't let him. Darrell looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pollack doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Darrell drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pollack manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Darrell has Pollack in his guard. Pollack tries to stand but Darrell is controlling from the bottom. Darrell working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pollack doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pollack manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Darrell looking for a sweep. Not yet Darrell, not yet. Pollack trying to control but Darrell is working from the bottom. Darrell has his foot on Pollack's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pollack works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pollack would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Pollack has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Darrell throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Darrell is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Rob Darrell has got the better of the ground game so far. Darrell looking for a sweep. Not yet Darrell, not yet. Darrell manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Pollack is in a horrible position here. Darrell smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Darrell misses with a head shot. Pollack is looking to improve his position but Darrell isn't that keen on the idea. Pollack is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Darrell is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Pollack looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Pollack has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Darrell lands strikes to the head. Darrell wants to control but Pollack is keeping busy. Darrell is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Pollack is defending well though. Darrell let's go of the attempt for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pollack holding both Darrell 's hands and preventing any damage. Darrell trying to control. Darrell lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Darrell.
Darrell is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Pollack defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pollack preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Darrell. Pollack trying to get back to his feet but Darrell is in full control for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Rob Darrell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Darrell has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
