Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Bellamy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Carson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bellamy comes into the arena with What Mama Said blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Bellamy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dylan Carson!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bellamy thows a body shot but no joy.
Bellamy avoids a punch combination nicely.
A shot to the body from Bellamy misses
and Carson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Carson scores with a jab to the head.
Bellamy ducks right into an uppercut from Carson.
Bellamy avoids the body shot from Carson.
Bellamy just misses with a punch to the body.
A slow jab from Bellamy misses its intended target.
Carson misses the body punch
and Bellamy counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bellamy fails to land the takedown.
Carson throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Bellamy counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Carson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Carson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Bellamy is looking for a kimura here.

Bellamy stops Carson from getting back to his feet.
Bellamy winds up and cracks Carson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Carson is looking to improve his position.

Carson looking for submissions off his back.
Carson is pressing down on Bellamy's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Carson is looking for a triangle here but Bellamy uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Bellamy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carson keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carson gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Carson is desperately trying to improve his position but Bellamy has a good base and remains in mount.

Bellamy swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Carson is now in Bellamy's guard. A big mistake from Bellamy there, giving up the dominant position!

Bellamy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Carson forces his way into half guard.

Carson is working for a kimura but Bellamy is defending it quite comfortably.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carson wants to pass to mount but Bellamy is defending the position.
Carson wants to control but Bellamy is keeping him busy.
Carson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bellamy kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Carson throws a poor cross that misses
and Bellamy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Carson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Nice sprawl there from Carson as Bellamy shoots in.
Carson loads up on a big right hand but Bellamy slips the punch.
Carson misses with a hook.
Bellamy swings away with a body shot that misses
and Carson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Bellamy looks to score with a jab to the body but Carson is just out of range.
Carson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Carson jabs Bellamy right on the nose. Bellamy blinks but takes it well.
Carson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Bellamy is looking to wear down Carson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Carson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice shot lands for Carson.

and Bellamy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Bellamy gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Carson connects with a crisp jab.
Carson misses with a body shot.
Carson slaps away a takedown attempt from Bellamy, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Carson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bellamy throws out the jab.

and Bellamy counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Carson's guard now.
Carson can't keep his opponent in guard - Bellamy advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Bellamy lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Carson is trying to get back to full guard.

Carson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bellamy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bellamy's back!
Bellamy rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Carson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Carson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Carson thows a huge punch but Bellamy dodges it nicely.
Bellamy is staying active underneath Carson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Bellamy wants to sweep but Carson has passed to side control!
Bellamy is looking for a sweep.
Bellamy gets back to half guard.
Bellamy wants to improve his position but Carson is controlling well.
Carson is trying to control. Bellamy wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Carson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Carson stalling away here and it's allowed Bellamy to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Bellamy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bellamy is working hard here to advance position.
Carson passes Bellamy's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Bellamy tries to roll over but Carson keeps him under control.
Carson is looking to pass Bellamy's guard but actually Bellamy recovers to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Dylan Carson will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Horrible takedown by Bellamy or perhaps it was just good defense by Carson which made him look bad.

Carson tries to land a leg kick but Bellamy saw it coming and moves away.

Carson misses with a hook. Bellamy ducked under it nicely.

Carson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Bellamy escapes and throws Carson's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Carson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bellamy's best efforts.

Carson wants to get back to full guard.
Bellamy lands with a punch from half guard.
Bellamy lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Carson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Carson pushes Bellamy off looking to stand but Bellamy dives back in and keeps control.
Bellamy wants to pass to mount but Carson is defending the position.
Nice strikes from Bellamy there.
Carson tries to roll over but Bellamy keeps him under control.
Carson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Carson.

And that's the end of the fight!
David Bellamy showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Bellamy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
