Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Siro Son (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grant Joseph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Siro Son! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Grant Joseph! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joseph throws a head kick but Son moves out of range.
Son explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Joseph misses with a body kick. Son drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Son stops Joseph from standing up. Son not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Son in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Joseph wants to stand and escape but Son is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joseph avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Son stops Joseph from standing up. Joseph looks gassed! Son stands up from guard. Let's bang! Joseph throws a wild body kick that Son sees coming a mile off. Son closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Son has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Son is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Son throws an elbow but Joseph slips to the side and avoids it well. Son working the ground and pound from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Son stands up and beckons Joseph to his feet. A head kick by Joseph misses and Son counters with a takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Son has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. A solid leg kick lands there for Son.
Son looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Son passes the guard and advances to mount! Son tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Son lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Son with shots to the head and body - Joseph looks very uncomfortable down there. The referee warns Joseph that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Son content just to control the position here. Son is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Joseph can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Son looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Siro Son dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Son swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Joseph lands a high kick!
Son closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Joseph did well to prevent Son getting side control. Son is figuring out what he wants to do next. Son in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Joseph tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Son!
