Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Llewellyn Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas comes to the cage accompanied by Harrigan dies tonight.. Green is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: eye of the tiger. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas has managed to clinch.
Stalling in the clinch from Thomas.
Green tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Thomas blocks an uppercut.
Green is trying to drag Thomas to the mat but Thomas just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Green is trying to force a seperation but Thomas has the dominant position.
Green tries to break free but Thomas pushes him back against the cage.
Green takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Joe Green has been cut.
Thomas avoiding damage.
Thomas lands an elbow inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Green.

Thomas pulls Green in close to prevent any damage.
Thomas's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Green is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Thomas is aware though and is defending well.

Thomas is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Green is looking for a triangle here but Thomas uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Thomas throws a strike aimed at the side of Green's head but Green avoids it well.
Green seems a little lost for a moment, as Thomas dominates the positioning.
Thomas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Green on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Green is defending against the submission attempts here by Thomas.
Green wants to improve his position but Thomas is controlling well.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thomas has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Green uses from the top position.
Thomas pushes Green off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Green is breathing heavily.
Thomas moves into the clinch successfully.
Green drops down looking for an ankle pick but Thomas pulls his leg out and moves away.

Thomas manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Green manages to get himself to full guard.

Green had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Thomas defends it easily.

Green escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thomas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Thomas seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Thomas will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Green up against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Thomas throws a big uppercut that drops Green! More strikes from Thomas and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Green lies dazed against the cage as Thomas celebrates with his cornermen!
