Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mickey Ty! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marek Pudzianiszyn! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ty forces Pudzianiszyn back against the cage and clinches. Pudzianiszyn gets underhooks to prevent Ty's takedown attempt.
Ty tries to break free but Pudzianiszyn pushes him back against the cage. Ty takes a shot to the head. A short uppercut from Pudzianiszyn. Ty looking to slow down the pace here. A quick uppercut on the inside from Pudzianiszyn. Pudzianiszyn is trying to break the clinch but Ty is controlling him. Ty escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pudzianiszyn closes the distance and pushes Ty back into the cage. Ty tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pudzianiszyn just stands there and leans against the cage. A right handed body shot lands from Pudzianiszyn.
Ty jumps guard but Pudzianiszyn stands there with Ty around his waist. Ty gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mickey Ty. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ty tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pudzianiszyn just stands there and leans against the cage. Pudzianiszyn looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Pudzianiszyn tightens his grip and picks Ty up, before dumping him to the ground. Ty manages to land in guard. Ty looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Pudzianiszyn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ty's guard. Pudzianiszyn is taking a breather. Ty says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pudzianiszyn is nestled in close to Ty, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pudzianiszyn scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Pudzianiszyn content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Pudzianiszyn scoring with strikes to the body and head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ty has hold of Pudzianiszyn's hands but Pudzianiszyn slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Ground and pound from Pudzianiszyn. Pudzianiszyn has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Still in half guard, Pudzianiszyn seems content to control. It looks like Pudzianiszyn might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Ty is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Marek Pudzianiszyn was stalling too much, according to the referee. Pudzianiszyn manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ty on his heels. He'll look to pass Ty's guard now, I'm sure. Pudzianiszyn sitting in guard, not really doing much. Pudzianiszyn stopping the sweep attempt from Ty. Pudzianiszyn not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Marek Pudzianiszyn wasn't active enough on the ground. A decent looking cross lands there for Ty.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pudzianiszyn looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ty! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pudzianiszyn controlling his opponent. Ty is looking to get to half guard. Ty is working hard here to advance position. Pudzianiszyn is landing with some decent strikes but Ty is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Ty is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Pudzianiszyn looking to finish Ty with some ground and pound. This is bad for Ty! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pudzianiszyn is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ty can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Ty takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Pudzianiszyn in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Pudzianiszyn looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Ty covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
