Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roman Polak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joey Voit!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polak misses with a double jab
and Voit counters with a nice body shot.
Polak throws a combination that misses
enabling Voit to counter with a crisp jab.
Polak tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Voit counters with a straight right hand.


It looks like Roman Polak has been cut.
A jab lands there for Polak.
Voit misses with a straight right.
Voit darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Polak throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Voit counters with a stiff right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Polak slips under a jab from Voit.
A telegraphed right hand from Voit misses the target.
Polak throws a combination that misses
and Voit counters with a right hand to the body.
Voit lands with a nice body punch.
A swing and a miss from Voit.
Polak misses with a takedown
and Voit counters with a stiff right hand.
Voit throws a shot to the body.
Polak is breathing heavily.
Voit misses with an uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Voit scores with a decent looking hook.
Joey Voit is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Voit changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Voit scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Voit lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


Roman Polak's cut is getting worse.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Polak takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Voit scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A left lands for Voit.
Voit thuds a left hand into Polak's body.
Voit is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Polak had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Polak looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Voit misses with a looping right.
Voit throws a good cross that connects.
Polak swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Voit counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Voit throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Polak slips under a jab.
Voit fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Polak looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Voit catches Polak with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!


Roman Polak's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Voit loads up on a big right hand but Polak slips the punch.
Polak ducks under a wild hook from Voit.
Polak moves out of range as Voit strikes.
Polak throws a combination that misses
and Polak takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Polak tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Voit lands a jab.
A big right from Voit misses.
Voit throws a lazy uppercut
and Polak counters with a low kick, right behind Voit 's knee.
Polak shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Voit connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


Jeez, Roman Polak's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Polak misses with a double jab
and Voit counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Roman Polak's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Joey Voit!
