Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Hidalgo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hidalgo has chosen Eternal Hate as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Fisher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Juan Hidalgo! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fisher throws a nice looking combination but Hidalgo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hidalgo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fisher misses with a combination
and Hidalgo counters with a two punch combo. Fisher throws a combination that misses and Hidalgo counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Fisher swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Fisher counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hidalgo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fisher counters with a series of strikes that sends Hidalgo to the canvas! Fisher follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Hidalgo is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fisher is looking to stand up but Hidalgo won't let him. Hidalgo is still in real trouble! Can Fisher finish him? Fisher drops back looking for a leg! Hidalgo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hidalgo manages to kick Fisher off! Fisher jumps back into Hidalgo's guard. Fisher is breathing heavily. Fisher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hidalgo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hidalgo wants to stand and escape but Fisher is having none of it. Hidalgo seems to have recovered his senses. Hidalgo pulls Fisher in close to prevent any damage. Hidalgo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fisher is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hidalgo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fisher manages to get himself to full guard.
Fisher looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hidalgo stands up from Fisher's guard - Hidalgo perhaps looking for a knockout. Fisher misses with the combination.
Hidalgo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Hidalgo throws a one two combo.
Hidalgo moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Hidalgo lands with a straight right. Fisher didn't see that one coming. A punch combination from Hidalgo misses. Fisher falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hidalgo counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Fisher throws a hook but Hidalgo avoids it easily. Fisher lands with a right and another and another! Hidalgo is in big trouble! Fisher lands again and this time it's lights out for Hidalgo! A quality knockout there for Fisher.
