Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Byron Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Pandora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson comes to the ring accompanied by Dahler Mehndi - Tunak Tunak Tun. Pandora has chosen Best Song, Ever as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson throws a body kick the misses
and Pandora counters with a nice uppercut.
Nelson tries to score with a low kick but Pandora moves his leg out of the way.
Pandora jabs Nelson right on the nose. Nelson blinks but takes it well.
Nelson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

and Pandora counters with a three punch combo that has Nelson backing up. Nelson nods at Pandora to acknowledge the strikes.

Pandora feints and then cracks Nelson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nelson down.

and Nelson counters with a nice uppercut.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
A head kick by Nelson misses
and Pandora counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Nelson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nelson tries to land a front kick but Pandora steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Pandora counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Nelson thinking.
Pandora punishes Nelson's body with a nice straight punch.

Ronnie Pandora showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Pandora tries to bum rush Nelson with a series of wild strikes but Nelson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pandora takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
